Advocacy
Government Relations Committee
An advocate for our members' interests at the city, county, state and federal levels. The committee is responsible for monitoring issues directly impacting the mission of the Rancho Cordova Chamber and our chamber members.
Elected Officials Reception
Elected Officials Reception
An opportunity for community and business leaders to share ideas and solutions to current issues with our elected officials at the local, state and national level. Best part! -- No speeches and no media, just an opportunity to meet and discuss issues impacting our region and your business.
We serve Gold River, Mather, Rancho Cordova, Rancho Murieta, and Rosemont.
UCAN (United Chamber Advocacy Network)
The United Chamber Advocacy Network (UCAN) is a coalition of 10 local Chambers of Commerce—including El Dorado County, El Dorado Hills, Elk Grove, Folsom, Lincoln, Rancho Cordova, Rocklin, Roseville Area, Shingle Springs/Cameron Park, and Yuba-Sutter—working together to advocate for business issues in the Greater Sacramento Region. UCAN promotes a positive business climate and advances pro-business policies related to regulations, public safety, workforce development, and housing at the state level. The coalition is committed to supporting existing businesses and attracting new economic opportunities by improving public policy.
We encourage all business owners, entrepreneurs, and employees to communicate with their elected officials.
RanchoPAC
Businesses Building a Better Community
The Rancho Cordova Political Action Committee (RCPAC) is a non-partisan Political Action Committee dedicated to supporting election outcomes that promote local business success and the long-term prosperity of our community.
Because Chamber membership dues cannot be used for campaign contributions, RCPAC was established to represent the political interests of our members. Contributions to RCPAC directly support candidates and initiatives that align with our mission to grow and protect Rancho Cordova’s economy.
Endorsements and positions are initially proposed by the Chamber’s Government Relations Committee. Once approved by the Chamber’s full Board of Directors, the RCPAC board may be directed to develop and execute advocacy efforts in support of—or in opposition to—specific candidates or ballot measures.
Candidates are encouraged to seek RCPAC's endorsement. As part of the review process, the Government Relations Committee may ask candidates to complete a policy questionnaire and participate in an interview.
All statewide and local ballot measures are evaluated based on their projected impact on the business environment in both Rancho Cordova and the state of California.
To learn more, please contact Chamber President & CEO, Diann Rogers, at DHRogers@RanchoCordova.org or 916.273.5700.
Contributions are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes. We may not deposit your check or credit card payment without your name, street address, occupation and employer. We may not accept contributions which have been reimbursed by another person unless you inform us of the true source of the contributions. We may not accept contributions from foreign nationals. There are no contribution limits to this committee. Corporations, partnerships, individuals, PACs and unions are all permitted to make contributions.
