The Rancho Cordova Area Chamber is a leader in building employer-driven workforce infrastructure to develop talent and retain employees across key industries in Rancho Cordova. The Chamber implements advanced workforce development strategies grounded in Talent Pipeline Management© (TPM), a proven framework from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
TPM is a demand-driven approach intended to create consistent methods of bringing business, education, and workforce partners together to address and sustain high-quality workforce needs.
Our Chamber hosts two employer-led collaboratives to support the manufacturing and healthcare industries. Thank you to the City of Rancho Cordova for funding this work.
Manufacturing TPM Collaborative
The Chamber has been convening a Manufacturing TPM Collaborative since 2023. It currently includes 12 manufacturing employers and 7 education, workforce, and community partners.
In 2025, we had 52 job placements across three high-demand roles: Manufacturing and Production Support, Machinists - All Levels, and Quality Control and Quality Inspector.
Healthcare TPM Collaborative
The Chamber launched a Healthcare TPM Collaborative in 2025. It currently includes four major healthcare providers.
In 2025, we developed a 2-, 5-, and 10-year demand assessment focused on clinical pipeline development to address critical job needs. It will guide stronger pathways for Rancho Cordova students and adult residents.
Digital Tools Initiative
The Rancho Cordova Area Chamber and Roseville Area Chamber of Commerce were jointly awarded a grant from We Prosper Together and Valley Vision for the Greater Sacramento TPM Manufacturing Collaborative: Digital Tools Initiative.
The Chambers launched the Greater Sacramento TPM Manufacturing Collaborative to address workforce shortages in manufacturing across Sacramento and Placer counties. While our region's manufacturing ranks ninth as an industry, it is an underserved sector requiring immediate attention. The Digital Tools Initiative will explore and evaluate digital software tools to enhance workforce accessibility, strengthen employer engagement, and better align education and training with industry needs.
The Initiative's key focus is supporting the region's veteran community, recognizing their unique challenges in re-entering the workforce. Over 100,000 veterans live in Sacramento and Placer counties, and manufacturing has emerged as a key industry for veteran employment due to highly transferable skills. Stay tuned for updates.
