ECONOMIC INDEX REPORT & CONFIDENCE SURVEY
The Rancho Cordova Economic Index focuses on the performance of our local economy, giving business leaders objective measures quarter-to-quarter and year-to-year. The index measures data from five components, equally weighted and seasonally adjusted, with 2007 as the base year. Indexes include: Sales Tax, Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT), Building Permits issued (dollar value), Employment, and average Housing Sales prices. These components provide a timely and accurate snapshot of our economic health. Each of the individual components is also analyzed independently and a report prepared on a semi-annual basis.
NOTE: We are in the process of revamping our confidence survey and indexes. Below are outdated samples of what we provide. Check back to see the "new and improved" versions in the fall of 2024.
