WHO ARE THE CHAMBER AMBASSADORS?
The Ambassador Committee is a dedicated group of business professionals who give their time and endless energy to build a strong, prosperous and vital business community on behalf of the Chamber. They serve as the official representatives of the Chamber of Commerce, dedicated to promoting the business community as well as expanding and maintaining chamber membership.
The largest standing committee in the Chamber of Commerce, the Ambassador program is a premier business-networking program. Ambassadors are the backbone of the Chamber volunteer force.

Expectations
- Must maintain current membership in the Chamber
- Represent the Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce in a professional and responsible manner
- Promote the value of Chamber membership within the community
- Support Chamber membership with member leads and referrals
- Actively recruit prospective members and support retention of existing members
- Attend and participate at monthly Ambassador meetings
- Attend and volunteer at Chamber events, networking functions, ribbon cuttings/grand openings, and other programs
- Mentor new Ambassadors
- Serve on an Ambassador team or committee
- Maintain a working knowledge of Chamber programs and serve as a source of information
Eligibility
- Have decision-making authority and a minimum of six (6) months employment with or as a Chamber member
- Chamber membership is in good standing for a minimum of six (6) months
- Must exhibit professionalism in all business and Chamber activities.
- Must be able to make a commitment of time and effort toward on behalf of the Rancho Cordova Chamber and Ambassador program
- Complete an Ambassador application
- Complete 90 days of Ambassador training
- Complete an interview process
- Accept and commit to the Ambassador code of conduct
